View the packing slip shipment status in Profit and resolve errors
When you have reported a packing slip ready, Profit sends the data to TransSmart. If the data is complete, TransSmart will send a return message which changes the Status shipment of the packing slip in Profit to Shipment received correctly. If a packing slip has not been reported to TransSmart correctly, you get an error message. You have to resolve this error.
You have at the very least added the field Status shipment to the packing slip view.
To view the packing slip status and resolve errors:
- Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Packing slip.
- View the status of the packing slip in the column Status shipment .
- If the status is Handed over to transporter then you must now wait for an answer from TransSmart.
- If the status is Shipment received correctly then TransSmart will handle the entry of the data with the correct transporter. You can now print the labels if you have not already done so.
- If the status is Error handing over shipment then you must contact TransSmart or consult the TransSmart portal for the solution to the error.
- Click on the hyperlink to the TransSmart portal that you have received from TransSmart and that you have added as a Start menu item or in your Favourites menu.
- Resolve the error.
- If necessary, change the Status shipment once again to Hand over to transporter.
- Now print the labels if the shipment is received correctly.
