Configure subscriptions numbering

You can specify that Profit should automatically generate the subscription number. You can also specify that a user can deviate from the automatically generated number.

To set up auto numbering for subscription numbers:

  1. Go to:General / Configuration / Numbering settings / Auto numbering.
  2. Open the properties of Subscription.
  3. Select the Use auto numbering by default check box if you want to use auto numbering.
  4. Select the User may deviate check box if users are allowed to deviate from the automatic numbering.
  5. Click on: OK.

To set up an entry layout for manually entering a subscription number:

  1. Go to:General / Management / Entry layout.
  2. Open the properties of the entry layout for subscriptions.
  3. Go to the tab:General settings.
  4. Select the Manual subscription number check box if users are allowed to deviate from the automatic numbering and enter numbers manually.
  5. Click on: OK.
