Manage your own app connector

You have various options to restrict access to the app connector. You can block the entire app connector, delete certain connectors or block access for a user.

To manage an app connector:

  1. Go to: General / Management / App connector.
  2. Open the properties of the app connector.
  3. Select the Block check box if no one is allowed to use the app connector.

    This means that no user has access to the app connector from an external (mobile) application.

  4. Go to the tab: GetConnectors.
  5. Delete a GetConnector if no one is allowed to use it anymore.
  6. Go to the tab: UpdateConnectors.
  7. Delete an UpdateConnector if no one is allowed to use it anymore.
  8. Go to the tab: User tokens.
  9. Delete a user if the user is no longer allowed to have access.

    If a user should no longer have any access to Profit at all, block the user in General / Management / Authorisation tool.

  10. Click on: Finish.

To delete a token using Profit Web services:

  1. Start Internet Explorer on the Profit application server.
  2. Go to: the following address:

    Local installation: http://<<servername>>/Profitservices/TokenConnector.asmx (on the Profit application server)

  3. Click on: 'DeleteToken'.
  4. Enter the token to be deleted.

    Enter the entire token, including the tags, as in the example below:

    <token><version>1</version><data>58A1C697C5F3476F838199C0412F625C4F2C46E4CEA6735454FDBB9EEBEBD48</data></token>

    Click on: 'Invoke'.
