Authorise a user group for tabs

You should preferably authorise tabs for groups. This keeps the authorisation clear and makes it easier to manage.

For informational purposes, here you see an image of the properties of a sales contact, with all tabs having been authorised. These tabs are also found in the Authorisation tool.

To authorise a user group for tabs:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  2. Go to the tab: Group maintenance.
  3. Select the user group.
  4. Go to the tab: Authorisation.
  5. Open the required heading and sub-heading until you reach Tabs.
    • Select Tabs to set the authorisation for all the underlying tabs.
    • Select a specific tab to set the authorisation for it.

  6. Select an item at the bottom of the window.
