Profit Calendar Authorisation

You can authorise on other users' calendars and on locations. In addition, you can specify that a user is allowed to change appointments which they, themselves, do not own.

  • You are allowed to change appointment with a different owner

The user who makes the appointment is automatically the owner of the appointment. Only the owner is allowed to change and delete an appointment. If a certain user needs the rights to change or delete other users' appointments, you have to authorise this separately.

    Note:

If you authorise a user/group to edit appointments that they do not own, this applies to the appointments in all calendars.

This functionality is not intended for creating appointments without being an invitee yourself.

  • Authorisation filter

You can use an authorisation filter to specify that a user has rights for specific locations or other users' calendars.

Record Profit Calendar authorisation:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  2. Select the correct user or authorisation group.
  3. Permit changing other users' appointments:
    1. Go to the tab: Authorisation.
    2. Select General / Calendar / Actions, Edit appointment action.
    3. Select Allowed.
  4. Record filter authorisation on locations and calendars:
    1. Go to: Extra / Data filter maintenance.

Record the filter authorisation on the General - Calendar of users and General - Calendar: locations for appointment authorisation filters.
