Import an event

You can import an event. You can import events, including the participants and sessions.

You can import both new events and entries for existing events.

New events and sessions

The New event/session import wizard contains the Only add new sessions to existing events field for which the following applies:

  • If the check box is selected, sessions are only added to existing events. In this case, the event code (Event ID) is a mandatory field.
  • If the check box is not selected, events are added that could have multiple sessions.

Entries for events and sessions

When importing entries for events and sessions, you can specify if you only want to change the event or only the session. You do not have to select any check box, and you cannot select both check boxes at the same time.

To import an event:

  1. Go to:
    • CRM / Management / Import Course management / New event/session.
    • CRM / Management / Import Course management / Event/session entry.
  2. Follow the instructions in the import wizard.
