Add an event

An event is a course scheduled for a certain date.

To add an event:

  1. Go to: CRM / Course management / Event.
  2. Click on: New.
  3. Select a value forCourse.
  4. Enter a value inCode or select the Auto numbering check box.
  5. Select a value forTeacher (with a Organisation/person).
  6. If required, change the Location.
  7. If desired, change the Min.number of participants and the Max. number of participants.

    The minimum number is only an indication and can be found in the occupancy overview.

    During the registration of participants for the course, a check is made against this maximum. If it is exceeded, a message appears, but you still are able to register more participants.

  8. If applicable, select an Administration, Project and Project phase.

    You do this if you want to post the course invoices to the project revenue and the project's work in progress in the financial administration.

  9. Click on: Next.
  10. Enter a value inSession date.

    If the course has only one session, this is then the Session date. If the course has multiple sessions, enter the date of the first session. You can add additional sessions in the properties of the event.

    You can create the parts of the day in advance but you can also add them directly. The part of the day is extra information on the course date (session date) for planning purposes and is not mandatory.

    If you have already scheduled this event on this day at the same location then you will receive a message. You can double book the location or change the location for an event.

  11. Click on: Next.
  12. Enter allocation codes if you want to allocate the financial entries resulting from the invoice.
  13. Click on: Finish.
  14. If required, you can add extra sessions to this course.

You can also go to the Profit Calendar of the teacher and add an event or you can go to the course's properties.
