What do you see on this screen?

The 6-digit code(s) you see in AFAS Pocket indicate(s) that you have linked two-factor authentication. To log in with two-factor authentication means that you log in with something that only you know; a username and password together with something that only you have; these codes on your phone.

What do you use the 6-digit code for?

If you do not receive a notification on your phone, use this code to log in. Therefore, do not delete the codes that are shown here. The code is linked to your account and, if you delete the code, you will delete the link with two-factor authentication. As a result, it is no longer possible to log in.

What is TOTP?

TOTP stands for Time-Based One-Time Password and is a temporary code generated by a particular algorithm. Every 30 seconds, the code changes to another digit combination. This is important for security reasons. When the time has ended, the code will be refreshed and the old code can no longer be used. This ensures malicious parties cannot use old codes to log in.

I have multiple codes/accounts

You can link multiple accounts in AFAS Pocket. You can then, for example, have an account for logging into AFAS Online (logging into your own environment) and an account for logging into the AFAS Customer Portal (klant.afas.nl). It is important to enter the right code at the right site. Under the temporary code, you will see to which site the code applies and with which email address you must log in. The AOL Portal is the account to log into AFAS Online and klant.afas.nl is the account for logging into the AFAS Customer Portal (see the figure).
