Add a reservation

From contract management, you can record reservations and obligations, even if you do not use budgets. You create a reservation on a ledger account and an obligation is taken from the reservation.

You can also record an obligation directly (without first creating a reservation).

You can also import a reservation using an import file or the UpdateConnector (FiReservation).

To add a reservation:

  1. Go to: Financial / Contract management / Reservation.

    You can also create a reservation for a budget or for a project.

    If you have enabled the activation for the construction sector, you can also create a reservation for a purchase quotation or purchase order.

  2. Click on: New.
  3. Complete the general ledger account, the financial year and the period of the reservation.
  4. Enter a Internal reference (contract number) that, when recording an obligation, you can use to write off this obligation from the reservation.
  5. Enter the creditor, the amount and/or the number for the reservation.
  6. Enter the allocation axis to which the reservation applies. The field has the name of the axis.
  7. Click on: Finish.
