Term of a CLA

The term of the CLA includes the validity period of the CLA, the sector risk group, and the CBS CLA code.

The term as such is only informative because other data in the CLA or CLA/term of employment such as leave types, working weeks, etc. have their own terms.

The sector risk group and the 'CBS' CLA code entered apply to all linked employers and employees unless you have recorded a different value for a specific employer or employee.

To add a new term:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
  2. Open the CLA properties.
  3. Go to the tab: Term.
  4. Click on: New.
  5. Enter the start date. We advise you to use the date 01-01-1951.

By using this date you can report employees with an original employment start date of, for example, 25-04-1952, as being employed in Profit

  6. Leave the end date empty.

Profit enters it automatically when you add a new term.

  7. Select Sector risk group and 'CBS' CLA code.

InProfit Payroll the premium percentage over the 'SV' wage calculation base depends on the sector risk group that you select here. Per employer or employee you can use a sector risk group which is not the same as the one in the CLA.

  8. Click on: Finish.
  9. Click on: OK.
