Description

The use of default timetables and work timetables is the most efficient method because you can manage these timetables centrally. Try to specify the timetables in Profit in such a way that in the case of the vast majority of employees a default timetable or a work timetable can be linked.

Default timetables

You use default timetables for the following employees:

  • Employees with a weekly timetable that has the same working hours every week.
  • Employees with a variable work pattern that work the same number of hours each week on fixed days.
  • Employees with a variable work pattern that work the same number of hours each week, but not on fixed days.

The default timetables are part of the CLA/terms of employment. This means that an employee can only be given a default timetable that is part of the terms of employment linked to them.

Work timetables

You use work timetables for employees who work in shifts but have fixed working hours.

The work timetables are not part of a CLA/term of employment. If you specify that an employee has a work timetable, you can link one of the existing work timetables.

Example:

In this example you can see two employers with the same CLA/terms of employment. For employees with this CLA/term of employment you can specify a default timetable from the CLA/terms of employment.
