Add custom fields and tabs to the master card in InSite

You can add custom fields and tabs to the master card in InSite.

To add custom fields:

  1. Add custom fields.

To link custom tabs to functionality:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Management tool.
  2. Open Employee.
  3. Click on Yes in the message.
  4. Select the Employee file.
  5. Go to the tab: Tabs: Employee cockpit (ESS).
  6. Click on: New.
  7. Enter the description.
  8. Select the fields.
  9. Click on: OK.
  10. Close the Management tool
  11. Click on: No in the message.
  12. Open the Profielen In-& OutSite file.

    Here you specify that the employee can change the custom field in InSite.

  13. Click on Yes in the message.
  14. Select the Employee entry file.
  15. Go to the tab: Tabs.
  16. Click on: New.
  17. Enter the description.
  18. Select the fields.
  19. Click on: OK.
  20. Close the Management tool
  21. Click on Yes in the message.

To authorise functionality:

  1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Configuration / Functionality.
  2. Open the properties of the Employee Self Service/consult functionality.
  3. Go to the tab: Page parts.
  4. Go to: Employee / Employee master card (ESS) / Tabs.
  5. Select the custom tab.
  6. Select the Read only check box.
  7. Click on: OK.
