Description

The background of the annual wage statement: in the course of 2007 it became apparent that problems had arisen in the 'UWV' policy administration. The data in the policy administration are based on the wage declaration. That is why the tax authority may ask you to submit an annual wage statement. This is a one-time declaration, representing the status at the point in time you submit the declaration. In case of later corrections, it is not necessary to resubmit a declaration.

Annual wage statements in combination with FOS

If you use the ‘FOS’ sending method, you cannot submit the annual wage statements from Profit to the tax authority. In that case, you submit the annual wage statements to the tax authority by manually sending an XML file. You can find the XML file on the application server in '..\AFAS Data\Environments\[Environment name]\Units\[Environment name]\Human Resource\Loonaangifte'.

Note:

The file names of the annual wage statements begin with the employer code.

After sending the XML file, you contact the tax authority.

Procedure

  • Add annual wage statements

The tax authority may ask an employer to submit an annual wage statement for the preceding year. For this purpose, in Profit additional functionality is available, which is very similar to the preparation of the wage declaration. However, in the case of an annual wage statement you only have to submit one statement per employer for the entire year.

  • Prepare annual wage statements

When you prepare the annual wage statements, Profit generates the XML files for the tax authority.

  • Send annual wage statements

Sending annual wage statements works in the same way as sending a wage declaration.
