Edit drafts

When editing a draft you can always change detail lines, as long as they are not compressed. If the lines are compressed, then for any changes you make to the detail lines, the total of the detail lines must always be in balance with the compressed line.

Description

The status of the drafts is visible. A draft can have one of the following statuses:

  • Cannot be invoiced:

The draft has not yet been released for invoicing. New drafts always get this status. Also drafts which are not fully completed are given this status, after the invoices have been generated.

  • Can be invoiced:

The draft has been released for invoicing.

  • Invoiced:

    The draft has been invoiced.

  • verwijderd:

    The draft has been deleted.

  • Delayed:

The draft has been reviewed but will be invoiced in a subsequent period. On completion, you will be asked whether a draft with the Delayed status should be released for invoicing. If you click on Yes, the status of the draft will be changed to Can be invoiced; otherwise, the status will remain 'Delayed'. Actual costing lines can be added to a draft with this status.

  • Changed:

The draft has been reviewed and prepared for invoicing, but has subsequently been changed by the transfer of lines from another draft. On completion, you will be asked whether a draft with the Changed status should be released for invoicing. If you click on Yes, the status of the draft will be changed to Can be invoiced; otherwise, the status will remain Changed. Actual costing lines can be added to a draft with this status.
