Set the hourly wage factor per employee

For the employee you can set the hourly wage factor combination (factor, reduced factor, surcharge) and the hourly wage discount to calculate the sales price based on the hourly wage. The employee settings take precedence over the same settings that have been specified at the project level. However, you can also only configure them at the employee level.

The hourly wage Profit uses to calculate the sales price, can be found in the properties of the employee.

To link an hourly wage factor and surcharge from the main table to the employee:

  1. If you have not already done so, first populate the Hourly wage factor and surcharge table.
  2. Go to: HR / Employee / Employee.
  3. Open the properties of the employee.
  4. Go to the tab: Hourly wage factor and surcharge.
  5. Click on: New
  6. Enter a start date and, if applicable, an end date for the period in which the hourly wage factor must be valid.
  7. Select a combination of hourly wage factor and surcharge from the Hourly wage factor and surcharge table, for example the hourly wage factor 1.5.
  8. If applicable, select the hourly wage factor discount from the Hourly wage factor discount table.
  9. Click on: OK
  10. If you have not linked an hourly wage factor at the project level, you perform these actions for each employee for whom you want to calculate the sales price based on the hourly wage.
