Basic purchase order

You add a basic order to use as an entry template for a frequently occurring order. You can create an order from a basic order and thus add an order quickly and easily.

Description

A basic order is a template for an order. By adding basic orders, order entry can be done more quickly and simply.

There are two ways to add an order based on a basic order. You can create an order from the basic order and you can also copy a basic order from the order. After you have copied the basic order to an order you then only need to change the data that is necessary at that moment.

The basic order has no impact on stocks or order quantities. A basic order functions only as an entry template. You can convert a basic order into an order as often as you like.

You can add a general basic order that is not linked to a purchase contact. That allows you to use the same basic order for multiple purchase relations.

Procedure

• Add a basic purchase order

  You add a basic order as a template for the fast addition of orders. You can add a basic order for a specific purchase contact or for multiple purchase contacts.

• Copy a basic order to a purchase order

  You can quickly add a purchase order by copying the data from a basic order.

• Add a purchase order from a basic order

  You can add a purchase order directly from a basic order.
