Sequence number of warehouse locations

To determine the sequence of the lines on the packing slip, the so-called picking sequence, you must specify a sequence number for the warehouse locations (the actual place where the goods are stored in the warehouse). The packing slip lines can then be sorted by this sequence number.

Note:

This step is not mandatory.

Sequence number of a warehouse location:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Stock / Location.
  2. Open the properties of a warehouse.
  3. Go to the tab: Warehouse locations.
  4. Open the properties of a location.
  5. Enter a sequence number for Running order.

    Note:

If you use non-consecutive numbers you will be able to insert additional locations later.

  6. Click on: OK

Import warehouse locations

An easy way to enter the location sequence (sequence numbers) initially or to collectively change them is to use the warehouse locations import.

To collectively delete warehouse locations:

You can also collectively delete Warehouses, Locations and Warehouse locations. You can only delete a warehouse or warehouse location if no stock is present in the selected warehouse/at the selected (warehouse) location.
