Maintain a warehouse allocation for an article

You can allocate the warehouses to an article via an entry layout.

You can also import the warehouses and locations by selecting Order Management / Management / Import stock / Warehouse allocations.

You must have configured this first.

To maintain the warehouse allocation:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Item / Article.
  2. Open the properties of the article..
  3. Go to the tab: Warehouse allocation.
  4. Click on the action: Maintain.
  5. Click on: the button after the Warehouse field.
  6. Select the warehouse you want to allocate to the article.
  7. Complete the fields.
  8. In Purchase contact, select a preferred contact. You can choose from the purchase contacts you have added on the Purchase contacts tab of the article.
  9. In Location, select a preferred warehouse location.
  10. If applicable, select another warehouse and complete the fields for that allocation too.
  11. Click on: Finish
  12. Click on: OK
