Enable warehouse allocation

Warehouse allocation means that the article can only be stored in the warehouses (allocated) linked to the article.

Note:

If you use Warehouse allocation in order route , you must allocate warehouses to all articles! An order line for an article without a warehouse allocation is no longer allowed. If necessary, use the Warehouse allocations import for the allocation.

To enable warehouse allocation:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Management / Settings.
  2. Go to the tab: Stock.

    Stock_MeerdereMag_BestVPerMag_Toew1

  3. Select the Warehouse allocation check box if you want to generate order proposals for all items per warehouse.

The default settings for the order proposal in the article properties (Stock tab) apply to all warehouses. You can deviate from the default article settings for the order proposal per warehouse (Warehouse allocation tab).

If you only select the Warehouse allocation check box, the warehouse cannot be changed on the sales line.

  4. Also select the Warehouse allocation in order route field.

If you select this check box, but not Warehouse allocation, you can change the warehouse in the order, but not on the line.

If you select both this check box and Warehouse allocation, you can change the warehouse on an order line.

  5. Click on: OK
  6. Open the environment again when prompted.
