View the InSite and OutSite log

If you change the site, Profit automatically saves the changes in the Log. You can view and purge this log. When you install OutSite and InSite, Profit automatically writes lines to the log as well.

To view the log:

  1. Log on to the Central Login Environment.
  2. Go to: General / Environment / Central environment / Log.

    The view shows the errors, problems, warnings and other information that has been logged.

  3. Open the properties of a log line.

    The information you now see includes the time of the message, the log file type, message type and the message.

  4. Click on: OK.

To view the log per site:

  1. Open the environment linked to the site.
  2. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Site.
  3. Open the properties of the site.
  4. Go to the tab: Log.

To find a general error message:

If a user sees a general error message with the text below, you can use the environment log to find the full message.
