Set up InSite for AFAS Online

If you are using Profit via AFAS Online, you do not install InSite on the server yourself. InSite will be installed by AFAS as standard with regard to new customers. You must publish the site yourself in Profit.

New customers have two URLs by default:

• https://12345.afasinsite.nl
• https://12345.afasinsite.nl/test

'12345' is the participant's number. If your user code is, for example, 12345.BKR, your participant number is 12345.

To link a location in Profit:

1. Open Profit.
2. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Site.
3. Open the properties of the site.

   You do not yet have your own site if the following message appears when you open the properties of the site: Dit zijn standaard meegeleverde gegevens van Profit. Deze gegevens kun je niet zelf onderhouden, maar wordt onderhouden door de leverancier van Profit. wil je een kopie maken en deze aanpassen en onderhouden? 

   If this message is displayed, click Yes and first add a site.

4. Go to the tab: Publish.
5. In Web location select the URL on which the website is available.

   This is the URL with which users can open the site.

   If you do not complete this field, your site will not be published. For a new site, this means that visitors see nothing if they enter the URL. For an existing site, it means that changes are no longer implemented. That means you always have to enter a web location if you want the site to be accessible with a browser.

   By default, several URLs are available which have automatically been created for you by AFAS. If there is no URL available, submit an incident.

6. Select the Publish website as 'under construction' check box if you want a visitor who logs on to the site now to receive a message saying that the site is under construction.
7. Click on: Finish.

   After the addition of the web location, the virtual path is available.

Profit Windows system requirements:

• Profit is installed as a server installation.
• You configure InSite in the Central Log-on Environment (CLE).
• Both IIS and .NET Framework 4.5.2 must be installed on one application server and on all web servers.
• In IIS, the web site 'Default Website' must be available for https.
