Create vacancies in InSite

You can create a new vacancy in InSite.

You link the applicants to the vacancy in Profit Windows or in InSite. In the second case, you must first create the application as HR manager and then select the applicant. Furthermore, a workflow is then started.

To create a vacancy in InSite:

  1. Go to: InSite.
  2. Go to: Recruitment and selection.

    You see the actions and overviews of the vacancies and applicants.

  3. Click on: Registreren vacature.

    InSite may have been configured differently for you, in which case the description of the action deviates.

  4. Click on: Create vacancy.
  5. Select the employer to whom the vacancy applies.
  6. Enter the start date.
  7. If applicable, enter the Vacancy end date.

    Profit will close the vacancy after the end date and you can start assessing the received applications. In Applicant Self Service vacancies are closed automatically: the vacancy is removed from overviews and applying is no longer possible.

  8. Enter the description.
  9. Enter Docent Profit as the description.
  10. Select the reason for the vacancy.
  11. In Resp. person, select the user who is going to review the applicants substantively via the workflow and reject them or report them as employed.
  12. Select the contact person.

    This user reviews the application data. For example, is this a real application or has it been sent as spam or as a joke?

    This user can also link an existing person to an application. If the application is genuine, this contact person creates the applicant. After this, the applicant receives a confirmation mail via the workflow together with login details for the portal. The applicant can view his data on the portal.

  13. Select the Job for which there is a vacancy.
  14. Select the Organisational unit for which you want to recruit a new employee.
  15. In Work level, select the level that the applicant needs to have achieved.

    Here, you can choose from the same values as in Educational level. For example, the applicant can have achieved the work level but not the educational level.

    You can view an analysis of this when reviewing the applicants.

    You can add values for this yourself in Education/work level.

    If the applicant enters employment, Profit copies this value and not the value in Educational level to the employee.

  16. In Work experience, select the number of years of experience that the applicant should have.
  17. In Educational level, select the level that the applicant needs to have achieved.

  18. Select Standaard sollicitatie for Profile.

    This determines which fields should appear on the application form in InSite and OutSite and which workflow is used for an application for the vacancy. For Applicant Self Service, the Standaard sollicitatie profile is supplied. It is linked to the supplied Application (Profit) workflow.

    You can also add a profile with fields to be completed and a workflow yourself.

  19. Click on: Create.

    When you return to the overview with the vacancies, you find the new vacancy with the Open status.
