Create a vacancy in Profit for Applicant Self Service

You add a vacancy in Profit in which you specify the profile to which it is linked. Based on the profile, Profit determines how the vacancy is displayed in InSite and OutSite and which workflow should be used for an application submitted using Applicant Self Service.

A vacancy always refers to a particular employer, job, and organisational unit. A new vacancy is always given the Open status.

If you have multiple vacancies for the same job, each vacancy must be added separately in Profit.

You can also import vacancies.

To create a vacancy in Profit for Applicant Self Service:

  1. Open Profit.
  2. Go to: HR / Recruitment and selection / Vacancy.
  3. Click on: New.
  4. Select a value for Employer.
  5. If applicable, enter the Vacancy end date.

Profit closes the vacancy on this end date and you can then review the applications received. In Applicant Self Service, this closure is automatic: the vacancy is removed from the overview and applying is no longer possible.

  6. In Work level, select the level that the applicant needs to have achieved.

Here, you can choose from the same values as in Educational level. For example, the applicant can have achieved the work level but not the educational level.

You can view an analysis of this when reviewing the applicants.

You can add values for this yourself in Education/work level.

If the applicant enters employment, Profit copies this value and not the value in Educational level to the employee.

  7. In Work experience, select the number of years of experience that the applicant should have.
  8. In Educational level, select the level that the applicant needs to have achieved.

You can add values for this yourself. See above.

  9. In Resp. person, select the user who is going to review the applicants substantively via the workflow and reject them or report them as employed.
  10. In Contact, select the user who is going to review the application data, for example, to see if it is genuine and complete.

This user can also link an existing person to an application. If the application is genuine, this contact person creates the applicant. After this, the applicant receives a confirmation mail via the workflow together with login details for the portal. The applicant can view his data on the portal.

  11. Select Standaard sollicitatie for Profile.

This determines how the application form for the vacancy appears in InSite and OutSite with regard to fields and which workflow is used for an application for the vacancy. The Standaard sollicitatie profile is supplied for Applicant Self Service. This profile is linked to the supplied Application (Profit) workflow.

You can also add a profile with fields to be completed and a workflow yourself.

  12. Click on: Finish.
