Leave during absence
An employee is entitled to leave during (long-term) absence and therefore can take leave. In the case of a regular work pattern, only a leave entry is required.
Profit then enters leave hours for the holiday en also registers them in the timetable and the actual costing. The absence period continues normally on the basis of the expected recovery date, but no hours are posted to it. A leave entry during a current absence entry takes precedence over the absence.
Note:
In the case of a sickness entry with a partial work resumption, Profit enters the full work duration in hours for the holiday.
In the case of a variable work pattern, Profit does not enter any hours in the timetable calendar and therefore cannot determine the actual duration of the work or absence. Profit, therefore, sees the entries as individual entries and counts the hours as you enter them.
To enter leave during absence in case of a regular work pattern:
- Enter the absence.
- Enter the leave.
- To view the entered hours in the actual costing:
The absenteeism will continue until you end it, but no absence hours will be entered during the leave.
