InSite/OutSite displays a message after the installation of Profit Update
It may be the case that after installing a Profit Update an error message appears when you open your InSite or OutSite site. In the CLE log you can check what is wrong.
Suppose that when starting up the site, the following error message appears:
To look up an error message:
- Go to: General / Environment / Central environment / Log.
- Open the properties of the line with the description Website - Fout.
- Go to the tab: Details.
You now see the actual message:
The message 'WebApplication version does not match Profit Application version' is displayed after the Profit Update. You can solve this issue by launching the Profit Update Service Controller. During the installation of a Profit Update you stop this controller. After the installation, you need to re-start it manually.
If a different message is displayed, check the Help files to see if you can resolve the issue yourself. Otherwise you can submit an incident via the customer portal.
