Link a destination to a dossier item in InSite
You can submit a dossier item using a destination: for example, an organisation/person or employee. If you submit this kind of dossier item ‘separately’, you can enter the destination in the wizard.
This is now possible for the Organisation/person, Employee Dossier and Forecast destinations.
Example:
InSite users can submit a general complaint from any menu. Users who create complaints must enter all of the data themselves.
You can also create a Create Employee Complaint page. You link this page (as a related reference) to the page for the employee. A user can only enter this complaint from the properties of the employee. If the user creates a Complaint, Profit automatically uses the opened employee as the destination. Users can enter the other details themselves.
To link a destination to a dossier item in InSite:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
- Open the properties of the dossier item..
- Go to the tab: In & OutSite.
- Select the Visible check box in the InSite frame.
- Enter the Plural description.
- Click on: OK.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type..
- Go to the tab: Destination.
- Select the destination(s) from which the dossier item can be submitted.
To activate this field you need to set the destination to Optional, Mandatory or One of these mandatory.
- Click on the action: InSite on/off.
In the above example, it would be after Employee. For InSite, extra pages are created within the template for creating the dossier item: Create Employee Dossier Item.
- Click on: OK.
You repeat this procedure for each dossier item type you want to submit in InSite.
From the Employee (ESS), you can create a reference (related reference) based on these pages immediately after selecting an employee. (In this case, Create Employee Dossier Item) The ‘employee' input parameter is linked to this page.
Now, during submission, the employee is selected immediately as the destination:
