Change the dossier item type for InSite
You can change existing dossier item types to make them suitable for use in InSite. You do this in Profit Windows.
To make an existing dossier item type suitable for InSite:
- Open Profit.
- Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type that you want to make suitable for InSite.
- Go to the tab: In & OutSite.
- Select the Visible check box in the InSite frame.
- Enter Plural description.
- Click on: OK.
Profit reports that the page type for this dossier item type still needs to be activated in the site. You do this later in this procedure.
- Click on: OK.
The page type is now available and you can add an overview page of this type to your InSite site.
To activate the submission of dossier items via InSite:
If you activate a dossier item type for a destination, your users can submit dossier items using InSite. Otherwise, dossier items of this type can only be viewed.
- Open the properties of the dossier item type..
- Go to the tab: Destination.
On this tab, you see the destinations for which dossier items of this type can be registered.
- Select the destination.
- Click on the action: InSite on/off.
The Submit in InSite check box is selected for the destination. This makes an InSite page available for creating dossier items.
- Click on: OK.
To activate a page type:
- Go to: General / In & OutSite / Site.
- Open the properties of the site.
- Go to the tab: Page types.
- Select the check box for the dossier item type.
- Click on: OK.
You now have to wait until the site has been published. You can check this in the properties of the site. Use F5 to refresh the data in this window. If the status is Published in full, continue with the next procedure.
To authorise users for the page type:
By default, the (new) page type is not authorised. New functionality has already been added based on the dossier item type.
- Go to: General / In & OutSite / Configuration / Authorisation role.
- Open the properties of the role you want to authorise.
- Go to the tab: Functionality.
- Add the new functionality to this role.
- Click on: OK.
