Report an end of employment in InSite
You can report the end of employment of employees in InSite.
With the end of employment report in InSite you can perform all the actions required to report the end of employment for an employee in one go.
To report an employee's end of employment:
- Go to: InSite.
- Go to: My InSite.
- At the bottom, click on the report end of employment action.
InSite may have been configured differently for you, in which case the description of the action deviates.
Profit only displays employees who have a valid contract.
- Select the employee.
- Enter the employment end date.
If the employee has a temporary contract, Profit displays the end date concerned. You can modify it if necessary.
- Click on: Create.
The end of employment report now goes to the workflow.
- Click on the action: Modify if you want to change fields and settings of the employment has ended message. The contract fields cannot be changed. If they are incorrect, you must reject the workflow.
- You can change the status of the employee.
You can use the Status field at your own discretion. This information field is not changed by Profit. Profit considers an employee to be employed if the employee has a current employment. The Status field is thus not considered.
- Select the supply type for the pay slip.
Note:
If the employee leaves his or her employment and you want to continue sending pay slips and annual statements by e-mail, you need to configure that Profit can send them to the private e-mail address.
- Select the Blocked check box if you want to block the employee immediately. If you still want to process the employee's wage in Profit Payroll, do not select this check box.
Note:
A blocked employee does not count for the Employee licence. You can also block an employee after reporting the end of the employment by specifying this in the employee's master data.
- Select the End changed wage components check box if you want to terminate the wage components at the employee level as of the employment end date.
- Click on: Approve or Reject.
