Description

A workflow consists of different tasks and actions from one or more sub-processes. The tasks are performed by employees or departments. You can perform various actions on these tasks such as Complete, Reject, More information, Delegate or Transfer.

Employees can use workflows to organise their own work and priorities. The management has insight into the current status of the workflows in progress. Thus workflows provide you with a perfect picture of a department or person.

Changes in the workflow are first implemented in a draft of the workflow. Only when the workflow is published will the changes to it be implemented.

You build workflows in the Workflow Editor. The Workflow Editor provides you with a user-friendly graphic editor with which you:

  • Define tasks and actions
  • Navigate tasks and actions in a well-organised way by zooming in and out, expanding and collapsing
  • Link responsibilities to tasks
  • Automatically fill fields with a value when an action is performed
  • Perform checks for the actions such as:
    • Check on mandatory fields
    • Check on Direct transfer
    • Check on Intended for
    • Check on Tasks without actions
