Purchase entry layout settings

You can record a number of settings and checks in the purchase process entry layouts.

Description

If you want Profit to check the credit limit or you want to apply a minimum/maximum purchase order amount then you enter this in the entry layout.

Many of the checks and actions that you can perform for the sales entry layouts can also be set for the purchase entry layouts. For instance, the settings for: Print order, Place order in dossier, Manually enter order number, Add new purchase order immediately, Block orders, Check credit limit and Check minimum and maximum amount.

If you have a Bakeries licence, there is one specific setting in the purchase entry layouts and this is the product range check.

Procedure

• Set to always block purchase orders

  In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to block purchase orders automatically after they have been added. You can set this for the purchase order and goods receipt.

• Set a warning for a purchase contact

  You can specify that you receive a warning if an order is added for a particular purchase or sales contacts.

• Print a purchase order setting

  In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to print the purchase order on completion of an order. You can set this for all order types.

• Only item-linked purchase contact in purchase order

  In the entry layout you can specify that only articles of the linked purchase contact are allowed to be purchased using the purchase order.

• Set to place purchase order in dossier

  In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to place the purchase order in the dossier of the purchase contact in question on completion of an order. You can set this for all purchase order types.

• Set to enter purchase order numbers manually

  In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to enter the purchase order number manually. You can set this for all purchase order types.

• Add a new purchase order immediately

  In the entry layout, you can specify whether you want to add a new purchase order immediately after the completion of a purchase order. You can set this for all purchase order types.

• Set to check the credit limit

  In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to check the credit limit when a purchase order is added. You can set this for the purchase order and goods receipt.

• Set to check the minimum and maximum purchase order amount

  In the entry layout you can specify whether you want to block purchase orders if the purchase order amount is less than or more than a specific amount. You can set this for the purchase order and goods receipt.
