Modify the entry layout for digital prenotification

If you want to prenotify shipments digitally with TransSmart then after activating the functionality you must add a number of fields to the entry layout of the sales order and the packing slip.

The fields are: Number of packaging units, Packaging, Shipping weight , Status shipment, Track and trace info.

You can also add the Transporter and Service fields.

Profit passes the values of these fields from the sales order/packing slip on to TransSmart. You can leave these fields empty and then enter or change them later in the TransSmart portal.

To add a field to the entry layout:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Entry layout.
  2. Open the entry layout that you use for the packing slip. If you use the 'Profit' entry layout then you must first add a new entry layout using the Copy action.
  3. Go to the tab: Header.
  4. Open the General Fields.
  5. Search for the Number of packaging units field by repeatedly pressing the letter 'a'.
  6. Add the fields using the normal procedure.
  7. Repeat this for the fields Packaging, Shipping weight, Status shipment, Track and trace info and if required Transporter and Service .
  8. Save the modified entry layout.
  9. You can repeat these steps for the sales order entry layout if you want to specify there whether or not the packing slip is going to be offered or if you want to select the Transporter and the Service.
