Generate SSCC labels
You generate EAN labels with SSCC codes during the delivery of the goods, thus on the packing slips. When the SSCC labels are generated, Profit registers the SSCC codes issued in a separate table together with some associated data for the packing slips selected. Profit prints the labels for the total number of load bearers per packing slip line.
If a specific load bearer appears more than one in a packing slip because the same load bearer is being used for different items, no account is taken of the possibility of combining different items in one single load bearer.
To generate SSCC labels:
- Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Packing slip.
- If required, select multiple packing slips using multiselect (Ctrl+S).
- Click on the action: Generate SSCC labels.
- You can also start this action from the command line.
You can repeatedly perform the generation of SSCC labels, for example, because you have subsequently change quantities or added lines to a packing slip. If you repeat the action, the already linked SSCC labels continue to exist in principle. What does apply however:
- The quantity on a packing slip line increases: this may mean that you must increase the number of packaging units for an existing label and/or that you must add new labels.
- The quantity on a packing slip line decreases: this may mean that you must decrease the number of packaging units for an existing label and/or that labels can be scrapped.
To print SSCC labels:
Profit does not print the SSCC labels immediately when they are generated. This means that you can still change the packing slips and generate labels once again without actually printing them each time.
- Go to: Order Management / Sales process / SSCC labels.
- If required, select multiple labels using multiselect (Ctrl+S).
- Click on the action: Print.
