Authorise dossier for Confidential field

A confidential dossier item cannot be viewed by everyone and is not shown in all the views. This may, for example, apply to dossier items that are being added via Profit HR or InSite.

A confidential dossier item type is only shown in specific views, not in general views such as:

  • CRM / Dossier / Dossier
  • CRM / Dossier / Edit collectively
  • General view with dossier items in InSite.

When opening a confidential dossier item, the (filter) authorisation for the destinations linked to the dossier item applies.

You can also designate a dossier item type as Confidential afterwards. This change applies to existing dossier items of the type in question.

To configure a dossier item type:

  1. Go to: CRM / Dossier / Configuration / Dossier item type.
  2. Open the properties of a dossier item type.
  3. Go to the tab: Settings.
  4. Select the Mark client record item as confidential check box.
