Set up the authorisation for partial collection and partial payment

If you want to be able to collect a portion of an invoice (partial collection) or in case of a payment order partially pay an outstanding item included in the payment order (partial payment), you must be authorised to maintain the Invoices to be paid tab in the properties of a collection order.

You can authorise this via the authorisation tab in the Authorisation Tool. This authorisation means that you are authorised to maintain the General tab via Financial / Debtor / Collection order, Collection order properties, Invoices tab / Invoice properties / General tab. This tab also applies to Financial / Creditor / Payment order, Payment order properties, Invoices tab/invoice properties/General tab. When the user does not have any rights to the payment order, this authorisation will not have any impact on this menu option.

To set up the authorisation for partial collection and partial payment:

  1. Go to: General / Management / Authorisation tool.
  2. Go to the tab: User maintenance or Group maintenance.
  3. Select the user or a user group (if you want to set the authorisation for a group).
  4. Go to the tab: Authorisation.

On this tab you can openklappen the available authorisation options by clicking on the + symbol and collapse them again by clicking on the - symbol.

  8. Close the authorisation screen by clicking on the cross at the top right.
  9. Click on: Yes.  when asked whether the environment should be opened again in order for the changes to be implemented.
