Adjust the Financial entries view with the change status and log data

To immediately see whether you can change an entry/journal entry or not, you adjust the Financial changes view. In this respect you can also display the user who created or changed a financial entry.

Note:

You can also add the Change status field to the entry layout. In that case the field is displayed when making an entry.

To change the Financial entries view:

  1. Go to: Financial / Ledger / Financial changes.
  2. Add a view:
    1. Display the Views toolbar using Ctrl+Shift+K if it is not visible.
    2. Go to: Views /New view....

  3. Select based on an existing view.
  4. Select the definition Financial changes.
  5. Click on: Next.
  6. Enter Financiƫle mutaties met wijzigstatus en loggegevens in Description.
  7. Click on: Next.

Fin_Weergave Financiele mutaties aanpassen met wijzigstatus (10)

  8. Add the Change status field to the view.
  9. Add the log data Date created, Added by, Changed by, and Date changed.
  10. Click on: Finish.

The columns are now added. The Change status column shows whether an entry/journal entry can be changed or not or from which Profit component the journal entry originates.

The columns with log data show which user has added or changed a financial entry and when. You can use this data to perform audit-related tasks, for example checking the VAT declaration.
