Configure the CLA/term of employment for leave

You link the leave period table and set up the employment types.

The leave period table applies to all leave types of the CLA/term of employment. If you want to use a different leave period table, you must switch to a new term of employment. Link the leave period table to the new term of employment and configure it in more detail. This is a drastic step, because the new term of employment must also be linked per employee, using a new contract line.

Most organisations use leave periods of one calendar year but you can use shorter leave periods or a broken financial year. A separate period table is used for the leave periods you link in the term of employment. The period table (and thus the leave periods) applies to all leave types within the term of employment.

You can only register leave in leave periods that have been added to the leave period table. Profit will only update the leave entitlement and leave balance per employee for these leave periods.

You record per employment type whether the employees are entitled to holidays and/or WTR. This allows you to specify whether the corresponding leave types apply to the employee. These are leave types with the corresponding Basic leave type.

To configure the CLA/term of employment:

  1. Go to: HR / Organisation / CLA.
