Holiday allowance is not recalculated when employment ends or at end of year

If Profit does not recalculate the holiday allowance paid out when an employee leaves employment or at the end of the year, the 100.002.014 'Vakantietoeslag' wage component has not been configured correctly. In this case check the following:

  • The 'Methode' parameter contains the value 'Grondslag opbouw'.
  • The 'Soort herrekening' parameter has been set correctly (recalculation based on part-time percentage and salary).

If you have processed the holiday allowance in the payment period using a separate processing code in Profit, you add a correction period with this separate processing code after the last processing period of the year.

Example:

The reservation of the holiday allowance runs from period 1 to period 12. You pay out the holiday allowance in period 5.

If the employee has received an increase in salary within this time frame, for example in period 7, Profit recalculates the holiday allowance in period 12.
