Description

For the change from a fixed salary to payment per hour, you need to perform the following steps:

  • You report the end of the employee's employment as a fixed salary employee
  • You report the start of the employment of the employee as an employee paid per hour.

Fixed salary employee to employee paid per hour midway through the period

In the salary calculation, Profit only calculates the last contract line for the employee. The wage declaration is based on the last agency line. As a result, Profit does not calculate the salary over the entire month. You resolve this by calculating the correct amount to which the fixed salary employee is entitled yourself. You enter this as a wage entry on the 100.001.000 'Salaris' wage component. As a consequence, Profit calculates the employee insurance premiums over the amount the employee is paid as a fixed salary employee. You can also record the employee once again in Profit when recording the new contract.
