Set manual project invoicing for multiple administrations

Change the entry layout of the project invoice if you want to be able to invoice in multiple administrations when adding project invoices manually. In that case you must add the Administration field to the header or the selection part of the entry layout. The choice depends on whether you use 'Invoice per organisation' or 'Invoice per project'.

In addition, you can also invoice one particular project in Profit in multiple administrations (please note that this is only possible if you do not use WIP in the project administration). In that case, leave the Administration field blank, both in the project and in the project group properties. You change the entry layout and add the Administration field.  

To set invoicing per organisation:

  1. Place the Administration field in the invoice header.
  2. If you now add a manual project invoice, the administration in the settings by default is copied to the Administration field in the project invoice header.
  3. By default, a new blank line is created. If it is necessary to change the administration, this line should be deleted.
  4. After the line has been deleted, you can change the administration code.
  5. Click on: New; the Administration field is deactivated.
  6. Select a project for which the linked administration matches the administration in the header or a project in which the Administration field has been left blank.

To set invoicing per project:

  1. It is mandatory to place the Administration field in the selection section.
    Place the Administration and Project fields in the header of the invoice.
  2. If a manual project invoice is now created, the administration in the settings by default is copied to the Administration field in the project invoice header.
  3. The Project field remains blank.
  4. By default, a new blank line is created.
  5. It is mandatory to enter a project in the invoice header, which is why the line has to be deleted. After the line has been deleted, you can change the administration code and enter a project.
  6. You can only select projects that are valid in the selected administration.
  7. If the Administration field is blank, all projects can be chosen. After a project has been selected, the linked administration is entered immediately. If no administration is linked to the project, the administration must be completed manually.
  8. Now click on New. The project on the line stays deactivated and is copied from the header.
