View and change actual costing in Actual costing

You can view and change the actual costing entries by retrieving the properties of an entry.

Note:

Entries can only be changed if they have not yet been approved, reported ready or invoiced. If the entry contains an article line, change is only possible if the corresponding stock entry has not yet been journalised.

To view and change the actual costing using Actual costing in Profit Projects:

  1. Go to: Projects / Actual costing / Actual costing per line.
  2. Open the entry line’s properties.
  3. Complete the fields in the entry layout header.
  4. Click on the action: F5. Select.

The entry window shows the actual costing lines that have been entered for this employee, financial year and period.

  5. Change the line.

Profit automatically updates the calendar appointment from the entry program. However, in case of an actual costing for an appointment without a linked actual costing (not of the Actual costing appointment type), if you change the date, start and/or end time, you have to change the times and the date of the calendar appointment in Profit Calendar yourself. The various appointment types can be distinguished in Profit Calendar by colours, the appearance of a radar icon Start_Menu en functies - Stamgegeven, or by the value of the Appointment type field in the appointment properties.

If you add a new line, this results in a new appointment in Profit Calendar if the project and the work type have been configured for integration with the calendar.
