Copy a basic order from a sales order

From an order you can copy a basic order. In this case the data from the selected basic order is copied to the sales order.

You can copy over a basic order that was added specifically for a sales contact or you can copy over a basic order in which no sales contact has been added.
Alternatively, you can also copy over order lines from the basic order or a different order.

To copy a basic order from an order:

  1. Go to: Order Management / Sales process / Sales order.
  2. Click on: New. 
  3. If multiple entry layouts are available then select an entry layout.

    You now see the entry layout.

  4. Enter the Order number if you are not using auto numbering.
  5. Select a value forSales contact.
  6. Select the basic order that you want to copy in Corresponding basic order. You only see the basic orders that are applicable.
  7. Click on: Finish.
