Price via calculation

When you add sales prices, you can select to have the price determined using a calculation. The calculation is then a percentage on top of theCurrent purchase price (CPP), the Current cost price (CCP) or the Current settlement price (CSP). You can have the calculated sales price rounded too. If you change the price the calculation is based on, the calculated sales price automatically changes too.

If your sales price always should be 25% higher than your purchase price, you only specify the purchase price for an article and calculate the sales price based on the current purchase price.

If you select the Price via calculation check box and the price on the basis of which you determine the sales price is €0.00, the sales price also is 0.00. The calculated sales price appears after the rounding has been set.

Example:

The current purchase price of an article is €185. You want the sales price to be 25% higher than the current purchase price. You enter 25 as the percentage. In that case, the sales price is €231.25. The percentage you enter is added to the price!

Two months later, the purchase price changes to €200. The calculated sales price now is €250.
