Stock quantity (in Stock overview)

Physical stock.

Reserved in stock (e.g. in the ‘Price for each sales contact’ function)

Shows the quantity of the article stock that is reserved through sales orders (or assembly preparation). The quantity of Reserved in stock is the part of the total reservation that is directly reserved in the physical stock, but has not yet been delivered.

If you transfer (part of) the order to a packing slip, then the Reserved in stock quantity is reduced, as is the In stock quantity.

Note:

The Total reserved field may show other values, because this is the sum of Reserved in stock and Gereserveerd op bestelling.

Profit only populates the Reserved in stock field if the stock check is set toCheck for available stock (sales order and packing slip) for the article. You will find this by going to Order Management / Item / Article, Article properties / Stock tab.

As soon as you change the setting to Check for available stock (sales order and packing slip), Profit will enter the quantities reserved in outstanding sales order lines in the Reserved in stock field. So Profit does not look at the setting as it was when the order line was entered, but at the article setting.

Economic stock

The economic stock is the stock per article for which there is a price risk.
Economic stock = Stock quantity + On order quantity - Quantity Reserved in stock

On order

The quantity on order for the article, in other words, the quantities in the purchase orders.

Minimum stock

The minimum stock quantity of an article that should be present. This applies if you purchase through the Order proposal and Stock replenishment has determined that the stock should be replenished to the minimum stock quantity.

Virtual stock

Your current physical stock converted into another unit. For instance, the basic unit of the article ‘soft drink’ is Stuks. You can have this converted by default and displayed as Six pack with contents 6 units.

Here you can add a new (deviating) unit and set how many basic units fit in one deviating unit. If Show stock is selected, the stock for the article is shown in the deviating unit as Virtual stock.
