Configure the Syntrus Achmea communication profile

You request your sender account via the Internet and you configure the communication profile.

You cannot use your login account as a sender account for the communication service. You must request the sender account separately using the below procedure.

This functionality is only available if Pension declaration and Netherlands (functionality) have been activated. You activate this functionality in the required environment. The activation cannot be undone. After the activation, a conversion takes place.

Syntrus by default provides a single sender account for each registration number. You can use multiple registration numbers (‘Loonheffing’ numbers) under a single sender account. You will receive the digital return messages in this sender account. Syntrus will post any feedback about the contents of the messages separately for each registration number on its own portal. In this way, employers have their own portal and cannot read each other’s feedback.

An administrative office can be authorised for a single sender account to also view the feedback about the contents of the messages belonging to other registration numbers associated with the sender account on the portal. If you want a mandate, click on the 'Request mandate' option on the portal of the sender account. Enter the registration numbers (‘loonheffing’ numbers). The corresponding employer will then receive an e-mail with a hyperlink to activate the mandate. After activation, Syntrus will send feedback to the authorised portal.

To request a sender account:

  1. Open the website http://www.pensioenaangifte.nl
  2. Log on to the website.
    • As an employer you can log on with the details that can be found in the invitation letter.
    • As an administrator, you can log on with your own account. You recorded this after you received the mandate code from the employer.
  3. Go to: 'Mijn pensioenaangifte'.
  4. Click on: 'Inzenderaccount'.
  5. Request the 'inzenderaccount'; you will receive the details by e-mail.

To set up the communication profile:

  1. Go to: General / Communication service / Communication profile.
  2. Open the Communication with Syntrus pension management communication profile.
  3. Deselect the Blocked check box.
  4. Go to the tab: Authentication.
  5. Complete the fields.
  6. Select Webservice in Communication channel.

    If the declaration file seems like it could exceed 10 MB, you can submit the declaration via FTP after agreeing this with Syntrus Achmea. You select FTP (only after consultation with Syntrus) as the Communication channel.

  7. In the ‘Connection’ tab you can set up communication via a proxy server. Discuss this with your system administrator.
  8. Click on: OK.
