Import new organisations and changes to existing organisations

You can import both new organisations and changes to existing organisations in one go. You can also import contacts and contact persons using the import function.

Profit first checks if the organisation already exists. You can specify the field that should be checked. Because this import combines new organisations and changes, there are almost no mandatory fields (yellow background) in the field list. That makes it possible to import only the key fields (the fields used to check if the organisation already exists) and the fields that need to be changed. The key fields are not predefined, but can be set in the pre-entry.

If no existing organisation meeting the search criteria is found, the action taken depends on the value of the New generation if not found field.

Note: 

If a new organisation is added, all fields that are mandatory when creating a new organisation must be completed. Even if they are not displayed with a yellow background.

To import (new/changes to) organisations:

1. Go to: CRM / Management / Import / Organisation new/change.
2. Set the import options.

   Import Organisations New/Changes.

3. If you also want to import contact persons, select the Add contacts check box.
4. Then proceed with the import using the wizard.
