Launch the Profit Site Deployment tool (multiple application servers)

You configure the IIS on the specified web server(s) using the Profit Site Deployment tool. You can use this tool to update the IIS configuration with the settings you entered in Profit for the Domain, Virtual Path and Web server.

After adding the site you can start the Profit Site Deployment tool as an Administrator (with at least local administration privileges).

You have just added a domain, configured the virtual path and added a site. Using the Profit Site Deployment tool, you link the IIS to the path of the domain and then of the virtual directory.

To start the Profit Site Deployment tool:

  1. On the server on which Profit is installed, go to ..\Program files (x86)\Profit\AFAS Windows\Kernel\Profit Site Deployment.
  2. Copy the Profit Site Deployment folder to the web server. This is necessary because the web server cannot retrieve information from the application server.
