Authorise a document for OutSite

You can authorise the documents so not all visitors of the site are allowed to read the document. This applies to both InSite and OutSite.

To authorise a document for reading in OutSite:

  1. Go to: General / In & OutSite / Document template.
  2. Open the properties of the document template.
  3. Go to the tab: Readers.
  4. Click on: New.
  5. Select a value for Type.

    Here you can choose from the following types:

    • Authorisation role

      If you select this option and have set the reader level, you can select Administrator customer portal or Employee customer portal.

    • Basis

      If you select this option and have set the reader level, you can indicate that Everybody can see the document in the portal.

    • Selection 

      Here, you can select an existing selection.

    • User group

      Here, you can select an existing user group. You will not use this option for OutSite, as you work only with authorisation roles here.

  6. Select a value for Reader level.

    Here you can choose from the following values:

    • Read and approved
    • In persoonlijk overzicht
    • Read
  7. Click on: Next.
  8. Depending on the type you selected, you can now indicate who can see the document in the portal.
  9. Click on: Finish.
