Description
Before adding a course, you first have to configure a number of general settings and tables.
In Profit Course Management you can register and deploy both internal and external participants and teachers. Internal participants and teachers always are employees, external participants and teachers are contact persons in organisations. Before you start adding teachers, registering participants and invoicing courses, you first enter some master data.
For the purpose of scheduling the courses, you add course locations. In addition, you configure a table with parts of days in which you record course times.
Procedure
- Activate the course administration
Activate this selection to use the functionality.
- Authorise the course administration
After activating it, you authorise the Course management functionality.
- Add parts of the day
For the course you specify when it will be given. If a course consists of multiple sessions, you specify the times per session. You set the start and end times for each day part.
- Add participants
You can register both internal and external participants for an event. An external participant is a sales contact, an internal participant is an employee.
- Link course status to presence management
You link the presence to a course status, because you do not record a status in Profit CRM. This way, Profit does in fact enter a course status for the employee.
- Add a course basic unit
You enter the basic unit when you add a course. This unit is used for calculating. For a course, the unit is generally Units.
- Add a course article group
You add an article group so that you can group courses. For the article group you also enter the ledger accounts to be used for the journalising.
- Add a course price group
You add a price group for courses.
- Add a course sales price
The sales price is the basic price for your course. For courses, you only enter a code and a description. You can group on this.
- Configure a course in InSite
Before an employee can enrol for an event, you first add a course and a page type, among other things, to you site and create a page on your site.
- Add locations
The course location is the place where the course is given. If a course comprises various sessions, a different location can be selected for each session..
