Use an advanced filter
Using the advanced filter, you can filter one field by multiple values (you can use both an AND and an OR filter). Because of the way this window is laid out, you have easy access to the filter criteria.
If you filter by a column that has empty cells, these cells are filtered out. If you do want to see the empty cells when using a filter, you can achieve this by also filtering the field on =[].
