Print a mandate form

For a written mandate, you print the mandate form report. You can change the report as you wish using Report Management.

The report includes the bank account number (IBAN and BIC) that has been set as the preference for the debtor or a deviating bank account number if you have entered one in the properties of the invoice/outstanding item. Entering a BIC for Dutch IBANs is not mandatory for debtors, but it should be done for the sake of completeness.

The report also includes the collector ID, the mandate reference and an explanatory text about the refund period applicable for the collection transaction together with information about how a debtor can submit a refund request to his bank.

In Profit, you have multiple mandate forms: SEPA one-off, SEPA Recurrent default of SEPA Recurrent business. Depending on the debtor’s Mandate type, SEPA collection method and Sales contact profile, Profit automatically determines which report should be printed.

Note:

If you want to print the SEPA mandate form, you must complete the Collector ID field in the properties of your administration. Also, the debtor's bank account number must have an IBAN number and BIC code.

To print a mandate form:

  1. Go to: Financial / Debtor / Collection mandate.
  2. Open the view:
    • All signed debit mandates
    • Debtor to be mandated
    • Invoice to be authorized
  3. Select the line.

You can select multiple lines at the same time by making multiselect (Ctrl+S) visible.

  4. Click on the action: Print mandates.

Profit displays an error message when printing a mandate form if you have not entered an IBAN (bank account number) for the debtor. In that case, close this window and enter the IBAN number as the preferred bank account number for the debtor(s) in question.
